Chemin de la Liberte reccy trip June 2014 Having fun above the Col de Core on the way to and beyond Etang d'Echeylle. We set off for a route recce for this year's Chemin de la Liberte trips for spa-treks.com Starting a bit behind schedule didn't prove a problem as the afternoon storms never arrived and it was a glorious balmy day... Snow level are still pretty high at around 2000m and one group didn't fancy the col but we pushed on and were joined by another on the way down.
